Information R/evolution (via mwesch) : Another great short by Michael Wesch. This time, he explores categorization in the age of the internet. Bottom line, everything is miscellaneous.
Videos
Top Gear – Perodua Kelisa (via earlku): Top Gear is a British show about cars. These guys love cars. So much so, that they take the bad ones to task in amusing ways. They hurt because they love. Great show and I highly recommend looking up more clips on You Tube.
Jamiroquai – Virtual Insanity (via dansymons): Yet another all time favorite video of mine. Can’t get enough of the choreography and art direction. The song is pretty fierce as well.
Acoustic Ladyland’s Cuts & Lies feat. Coco Electrik (via danmetallic) – Some of the most fun film work I have seen in video in a long time. Plus, the song is catchy too.
Satisfaction (live on SNL ‘78) (via fuckamericanidiot) – DEVO is one of my all time favorite bands and this is one of my favorite taped performances of them.
Classic Sesame Street – Richard Pryor’s alphabet (via sawing14s) – “Cuz that’s the Z of the game!”
Flight of the Conchords – Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros (via luckyluc10): Everyone on the internets must have seen this by now but it just refuses to grow old to me.
Short Letterpress Documentary (via creativetechs) – This is a truly beautiful little piece of short documentary. If you are a fan of paper and printing, this will make your day.
First Avenue: Hayday (promo trailer) (via jamesklambert)
Wow. Bethany and I were just lamenting the passing of the music scene we had here in Minneapolis in the 80’s. Here is a trailer of an upcoming documentary about just that. Very cool. The Replacement footage is just plain boss. Can’t hardly wait.
The Henry Rollins Show – America Is Under Attack (via shortshit86): I have posted about this elsewhere before but it is a classic.
